Lemon varieties

Lemons thrive best in subtropical areas since they need temperatures as balanceds as possible. During ripening they need cooler nights to fully develop their bright yellow colour.

The main varieties are: „Eureka“, „Verna“, „Genua“, „Primofiori“ or also called “Fino”, „Lisbon“, „Meyer“. These names are not indicative for they do not tell much to the market since lemons are mainly known and traded based on their country of origin.
